Grape harvest in the estate takes place from mid – August to the end of September and is done by hand during morning hours. This method is more expensive, yet very advantageous. The grapes are sorted on site; hence grapes which do not meet specific requirements are not harvested. Furthermore, the harvested grapes are not bruised.


The use of 17 kg bins and the prompt transportation of the harvested grapes to the winery before the temperature rises significantly, help minimizing bruising and squeezing of the berries and preserve their characteristics and freshness.
